Ducklake House is a listed building in Hertfordshire. It sits within the boundary of the Ashwell Conservation Area. There is also a timber-framed barn and a granary building within the curtilage of the house.
The proposed extension is a flat-roofed, frameless glazed box - Miesian in character and appearance, that is joined to the house by a frameless glazed link. The lightweight extension and its flat roof allow more of the rear elevation of the original house to be viewed and appreciated.
