The scheme at 50 Berkeley Street and 50 Stratton Street will sensitively upgrade and refurbish two separate buildings. Plans include:

  • Remodelling the roofs of both buildings to make them harmonious with the existing building and the site context and provide external amenity space for office users
  • Replacing the outdated plant with new high-quality sustainable energy systems, improving energy-efficiency of the buildings
  • Refurbishing the buildings to achieve an improved thermal performance
  • Activating the frontages to Stratton Street by creating the opportunity for new retail or a cafĂ©/restaurant
  • Enhancing the main entrances for both buildings, befitting their prime Mayfair location
  • Delivering more efficient and flexible office floor plates
  • Improving end of trip facilities in the basement such as cycle parking, changing rooms and electric charging points for E-bikes and electric scooters
  • Introducing significant urban greening at upper levels which will significantly contribute to biodiversity and the City Council’s Wild West End initiative
