41 Lothbury, is a Grade II* Listed building in the Bank Conservation Area adjacent to the Bank of England.

The scheme will see the refurbishment of the existing 7-storey office building including replacing and upgrading the services and an extension of level 07 office floorspace into the footprint of the existing plant area. Many original features will be retained, including the ornate banking hall with checkerboard marble floor.

A new office amenity/ breakout space will be included to activate the publicly accessible historic banking hall on the ground floor. A rationalised cycle arrival route, terminating in new bike store, shower & locker facilities will be provided encouraging commuting by bike.

A new rooftop terrace is proposed at level 08, to be used as a shared facility by all tenants.

The proposed changes will give the building a new lease of life, increase the office floor floorspace and make it an appealing place to work that also encourages public use.

The improvements are designed to be sensitive to the existing Grade II* Listed building, interiors and local Bank Conservation Area context.
