Revit Technician

Full Time

Enthusiastic and experienced Revit Technician sought.

We are on the lookout for someone with excellent technical knowledge who would be happy to act as the key point of contact for all Revit queries as well as a resource for team members, supporting projects with technical design issues. Key skills and requirements:

– Assist with the initial set-up of Revit projects and coordination with other consultants including attending project-specific BIM meetings

– Reviewing and maintaining Revit templates, schedules, and standards

– Build and assemble Revit models as required

– Manage Revit implementation, and compliance for architectural projects office-wide

– Troubleshoot Revit issues for the Studio team

– Management of Revit project data/workflows and advise the team on project sharing protocols and workflow management

– Assist with the creation of Revit library objects and verification of existing components and ongoing maintenance of the library

– Set up and maintain the project BEPs

– Review and approve information/models for sharing with consultants as well as auditing incoming and outgoing models

– Project team Revit training and support for individuals and the wider office team including training for new users

– Prepare project specific training documentation and project BIM execution plans

– Provide support in preparing BIM documentation, BIM Scope of Work and contractual documents

– Be aware of latest trends and developments in BIM / Revit

– Sit within the BIM steering group in the studio to help maintain and advance correct process and knowledge in the practice
