'Unanimous approval' for Stiff + Trevillion's Regent House scheme

Last night (11.11.14) Westminster Planning Committee unanimously approved Stiff + Trevillion's Regent House scheme on behalf of the Portman Estate.
Cllr Davis, chairing last night's committee, said he liked the previous scheme but added that the applicant had done 'a very good job' in redesigning it. The new scheme will involve the demolition of the existing block at 112-130 Edgware Road, George Street and Nutford Place W2 and replacing it with with a new part-eight and part-nine storey block for 24 flats, offices and shops.
The redevelopment of this site offers a unique opportunity to create a high quality contemporary and sustainable landmark building and improvements to the surrounding Public Realm.
