RIBA Student Awards

Selvei Al-Assadi first joined Stiff and Trevillion for her year out, following the completion of her postgraduate diploma in architecture at London South Bank University, she has been awarded a Silver Medal Commendation in the RIBA President’s medal competition. This highly commendable award considers 200 entries and is given by a panel of international judges. Being the best known and most prestigious design competition for architecture students in the world, it is an honourable achievement for Selvei to have gained.

The judges were Nanako Umemoto, Willem Neutelings of Neutelings and Riedijk, Oliver Richards, and Eric Parry.

Earlier this year Selvei's work was also exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.

Her work is currently being exhibited at the RIBA, 66 Portland Place, London W1 until 31 January 2010.
