The Draft House

News — 12 Jan 2010

Stiff and Trevillion have renovated the Battersea branch of the pub chain, Pitcher and Piano with an 'attractive boutique beer bistro' called The Draft House. Charlie McVeigh requested that we reuse as much of the existing materials as possible, as a result the project only took nine weeks to complete. Whilst the bar remains the same, the general atmosphere has been transformed with clever use of lighting and choice of furniture.

Time Out raved about the new bar saying 'it's rather hard to find fault'. They describe it as having an 'unfussy dining room' and a cosy atmosphere, 'clad in wood and warmed by candle light'. The design compliments the seventeen different beers on draught and the traditional menu, which ranges from cheese toasties to steak and chips.
