Cambridge

On Friday 4th July, the S+T team switched off their PC's and headed to Cambridge to spend the day exploring this beautiful small city.  An architecturally diverse place, the team visited contemporary housing schemes, academic buildings of various ages and rounded off the visit with a punt on the Cam.

A highlight of the day was a visit to the The Department of Architecture at the University of Cambridge and in particular Colin St John Willson's listed Scroope Terrace extension.  The team were given a very warm welcome and spent time exploring Wilson's building and learning more about the vision behind the design.
