Pentonville Road
The new building at Pentonville Road retains and connects the existing structural frames of two buildings, to provide six storeys and 55,000 sq ft (net) of fully-modernised open plan office accommodation.
The front elevation to Pentonville Road is to be dramatically renewed to provide a fresh and robust façade, with the materiality of the hand-made bricks emphasised; while the facades to the rear yard are also to be rebuilt to be brought up to modern standards. The main entrances are to be enlivened with striking double-height spaces and large cantilevered canopies with cruciform columns in solid stainless steel.
The interiors of the buildings are to be fully refurbished to provide a Category A Office fit-out, including renewed mechanical and electrical systems, lifts and washroom facilities.
