Planning Approval for Park Lane Mews Hotel Project

Stiff+Trevillion have gained consent for the redevelopment of The Park Lane Mews Hotel, with the scheme's design described as 'exemplary' by Westminster planners.

Located within Shepherd’s Market in Mayfair, the existing hotel building falls short of modern standards with too many small rooms. The site is to be redeveloped to provide a new five star hotel with ancillary casino and restaurant. The adjoining listed buildings will be renovated and refurbished to provide improved residential apartments.

The facade design references the surrounding fabric of Mayfair through the use of brick as the main material; supplemented by shaped glazed terracotta bays, to add colour, quality and interest. The window bays are tall and generous, mimicking the proportions of the surrounding historic Georgian fabric.
