40 Beak Street to be new London base for Damien Hirst

3 Oct 2018

40 Beak Street has been sold to Damien Hirst, Turner Prize winning artist and part of the YBA movement of the mid 1980's who subverted current thinking on contemporary art and its role in society.

Beak Street's striking exterior will be home to Hirst's London studio following a restructure of his art and business operations to focus more closely on creative work.

The interior of the building features double height spaces and a 'letter-box' style opening in the floor plates to allow large scale installations to be lifted in and out of the building.
